Dennis Pastrana, President & CEO
Dennis Pastrana is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Goodwill Industries of South Florida.
Dennis's career with Goodwill Industries spans 35 years, and he is today recognized as "Dean" among 182 Goodwill Industries' Executives in America.
Dennis's career began in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the largest Goodwill in America, where he served for nine years and rose to the position of Assistant Executive Director.
For seven years, he served at the National Headquarters of Goodwill Industries in Washington, DC. He was Vice President of Membership Direct Services and responsible for providing consultation and technical assistance to all Goodwills' in North America and the Goodwill Executive Training Program.
Dennis came to Miami in 1979 to head a small, bankrupt, defeated and demoralized Goodwill Industries operating a few thrift stores. He has led the local Goodwill to a full recovery and subsequently to become one of the largest, entrepreneurial and diversified Goodwill Industries.
Dennis has a master degree in business administration from Marquette University. He is the recipient of numerous recognitions among them:
